Raiez believes that it is important to pursue something that is of interest to you in order to achieve success. He struggled a lot to start his own band, but eventually found success.

Raiez Khan is a vocalist and co-founder of The Badmast Band, Pune.

Raiez belongs to Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. At the age of 19 years he came to Pune for higher studies but joined a band as a vocalist. Initially, he started his journey as a soloist and performed in events and shows for eight years. He also wrote his own songs and has been working in this field for the last eleven years.

Raiez dedicates and attributes his musical talent to his mother and his maternal family.

Talking about mistakes, Raiez says that mistakes are a part of life and admits that he recently made a mistake of not focusing properly on music.

Sharing his achievements, Raiez says that performing on the stage is in itself an achievement for him.

Raiez’s role model is Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. He also admires AR Rehman, Mohammad Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Michael Jackson, and others.

To attain mental peace, Raiez likes to sing, does mediation and also  offers the Namaz.

Raiez’s life mantra is to do your work with total honesty and dedication.
