Rahul always knew that he had a hand in art and hence wasted no time jumping into the tattoo world. Today, he owns his studio and is improving himself in every field of the tattooing world.

Rahul Singh Thakur is a tattoo artist and owner of The Ink Shooter tattoo studio.

Rahul was born and brought up in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. He says that his first interest was in football and that is why he came to Kolkata.

Rahul shares that he was always fascinated by tattoos and got his first tattoo at the age of seventeen. He used to draw a lot and his father as well recognized his love for tattooing and hence always encouraged him to pursue the field.

Talking about his role models, Rahul says that his father is the one from whom he has learned about every aspect of life. His father taught Rahul about perspectives in life and how different people will look at your work differently and that what really matters is how you feel about your work.

Rahul says that when he joined this field, it was just evolving but now the world has been connected and is globalized, making it easy to progress in the tattooing field. He says that one should consider what they are good at and then choose what they want to pursue as a career in life.

If given a Time Machine, Rahul would like to go back to his schooling days when he was still learning and exploring life.

When asked about struggles, Rahul says that struggles give you an opportunity to learn new things in life.
