Rahul Mathur is a self-made entrepreneur who currently holds the position of Design Director at Guruveshwar Consultancy Pvt Ltd, and he also owns the company.
Apart from his professional responsibilities, Rahul is also dedicated to imparting knowledge to civil engineering students through free lectures in various organizations. His main focus during these lectures is on enhancing vocational skills, emphasizing that practical experience and effective communication are crucial in the modern era.
Rahul says that he was born in the year 1970 in Banswara. Rahul completed his education until the first year at MB College, Udaipur, followed by pursuing B.E. in Civil Engineering from RTU Engineering College, Kota. Upon graduation, he started doing field work, where he learned essential skills from a head mason and a senior civil engineer, A.K. Sharma. Through dedication and curiosity, he eventually became an expert in his field.
Despite facing challenges during a time when civil engineers received low salaries, Rahul's determination, hard work, and passion enabled him to persist and succeed.
Rahul fondly recalls the unwavering support and motivation he received from his parents and wife throughout his journey.
Besides his professional pursuits, he finds joy in cooking and listening to Indian classical music.
During the pandemic, he utilized his time creatively, designing twelve vocational training courses and delivering online lectures to students in Geetanjali Engineering College and offering mentorship to those seeking guidance.
Believing that experience holds more value than just education, Rahul considers himself a lifelong learner. He views experience as an amalgamation of both successes and failures, considering failure as a valuable teacher.
Rahul's leadership skills were nurtured during his tenure at Ambuja Cements, and he follows an inclusive leadership style, supporting his team during successful times and taking charge during challenging situations. To him, success is a team achievement, while failure is a personal responsibility.
Throughout his life, Rahul has admired his father for efficiently providing for the family and looks up to his elder cousin, Dr. Sarvottam Mathur, who serves as an excellent teacher and role model.
