A musician, Rahul is following his passion for music and also judges music shows. He believes that it is important to be a good person and to spread happiness.

Rahul Adhangale is the Director at Rahul’s Music Academy in Nashik, Maharashtra.

Rahul started his musical journey at the age of four. His parents are also fond of music. His father was also a musician, so he always had a musical environment in his family.

Rahul says that he started learning music at an early age. Initially, he started with instrumental training and learned to play different musical instruments. Then he started preparing for the music exams, like that of the Gandharva Mandal and the Western Music exam from Trinity College of London.  When he was in the tenth grade, he got the ‘Visharad’ in music.

Talking about his journey, Rahul says that he belongs to a small town, and at the initial stage, his father taught him music. Afterwards, he went to Nashik to get further training from the gurus. After completing tenth grade, he started college in a big city to understand the culture and develop his personality. Then he met some artists, and with them, he formed a band. He started sharing his knowledge with others, and his journey continued. Afterwards, he started teaching music at a school for three years to earn his livelihood. But eventually, he realised that he was losing his focus, so he started his own institute. Initially, he had only two students, but gradually, the number increased and he was able to fulfill his dreams.

When asked about his challenges, Rahul says that, as he came from a small town, he faced challenges every day in settling in a big city. But he didn't give up and always tried to overcome all the difficulties.

Sharing about his achievements, Rahul says that teaching in a school as a music teacher and opening his own music academy are his biggest accomplishments. He also got appreciation from others. He also got a chance to judge a music competition, which was an achievement for him.

Rahul’s role models are his parents and gurus, as he always gets their support and guidance. He also admires AR Rahman and follows him.

Rahul’s life mantra is to always be unlimited. He always tries to be creative and focuses on the work that he didn’t complete earlier. He also tries to bring happiness into others' lives, which gives him inner satisfaction. He says that every day before sleeping, he analyses himself and tries to improve the next day.

To beat stress, Rahul sits alone and plays songs on the keyboard that give him positive vibes. His favourite song is ‘Aashayein’, and it motivates him a lot. He also likes to spend time with nature to attain mental peace.
