Raghav Gurjar Gaur was determined to become an actor since his childhood days, something which he has now achieved despite all the hurdles along the way.

Raghav Gurjar Gaur is a theater artist and student of acting at the Natyansh Society of Dramatic and Performing Arts.

Raghav was born and brought up in Udaipur, Rajasthan. He did his schooling from MMPS and went on to graduate from MLSU. He was influenced by cinema since his childhood and thus when it came to choosing a career field, he chose cinema.

After some convincing, his parents agreed and he started his journey three years back  with Natyansh. There he not only learns acting but also other aspects of cinematic art form.

Raghav considers his biggest achievement to be participating in his first stage play during his school days, where he was the anchor. That encouraged him to pursue this career field. The appreciation he receives from the audience after a show is also his achievement.

During COVID, like everyone’s, Raghav’s social and professional lives were also affected. He further says that the pandemic has taught people a lesson and made them stronger.

Raghav’s inspiration comes from great actors of Hollywood and Bollywood, like Kay Kay Menon, Robert Pattinson, and Leonardo Di’ Caprio. He admires their work and tries to learn from them.

Raghav advies aspiring actors to just jump right into the cinema field if they have decided to become an actor. He says that if you have the ability and work hard and are able to handle the stress, this industry is totally for you.

According to Raghav, acting is a field that demands you to lead. As a leader, you should be able to understand others’ feelings and needs and tend to them with tact. He further says that a leader is self-motivated.

Given a chance to go back in time, Raghav would like to revisit the day when he starred in his first play, where he was confident that his performance was excellent but his director had told him that it was atrocious. He would like to go back to that time and tell his younger self to not get overconfident just yet.

He advises the youth to pursue their dreams without focusing on hurdles along the way.
