Running her own coaching academy for three years, Radhika believes that one needs a strong foundation in commerce subjects, thorough content delivery, emotional connection with students, and communication skills to become a successful commerce teacher.

Radhika Singh Padihar was born and brought up in Udaipur. She completed her school studies at the St Mary’s convent school. She completed her B.Com and M.Com from Udaipur.

After graduation, she worked in many renowned corporate institutions as a Chartered Accountant. However, she was always interested in the teaching profession since her childhood as she wanted to impact the lives of students positively. After graduation, she taught in many elite institutions in Udaipur. Eventually, she started her own coaching academy and has been running it for three years.

Radhika says for becoming a commerce teacher, one requires a basic graduate-level degree and a strong foundation in the subjects of commerce. One needs to have a thorough and comprehensive delivery of content, emotional connection with the students, and communication skills. A teacher needs to be patient with students while teaching them and answering their doubts.

During the COVID pandemic, it was very difficult to motivate students as the students who were aspiring for competitive examinations suddenly felt a lack of willpower owing to the situation created by the pandemic. They recorded lectures so that students who had network issues could also view the content later. In her belief, online teaching prevents two-way communication and coordination between the teacher and students, and due to this lack of interaction, many students could not participate in doubt clearing sessions leading to subpar quality of education.

Radhika’s primary goal is to make everyone visiting her academy comfortable. She believes in a democratic leadership style. Everyone’s opinions and ideas are considered here at Asset. Suggestions by students and parents for improvement in teaching are always welcomed by her.

In her free time, Radhika likes to explore new places and try new foods. She also likes photography. She enjoys reading and also watches Netflix.

Radhika enjoys meeting and getting to know new people. Different experiences and different ideas originate from different people. She believes that she is an amicable person and she can befriend anyone in a matter of moments.

Her main inspiration is her mother. Her mother was a renowned school teacher. Her mother is now the Chairperson of Mahila Urban Cooperative bank. With minimum resources and dire circumstances, she has achieved success in her life and this inspires Radhika. She follows in her mother’s footsteps.

“Ek din bik jayega mati ke bol” is her favorite song. It means that after your death everyone will remember only your good deeds. Lastly, Radhika advises everyone to be content and satisfied in life with what you have and be grateful to the Almighty.
