With a passion for teaching since childhood and inspired by her father, Radha pursued a career in education. She embarked on her teaching journey in 2003 and continues to teach with unwavering enthusiasm and dedication.

Dr. Radha Chaudhary is the Principal at Geetanjali College of Science and Commerce. She began her teaching journey at the institute in 2003.

Talking about her early days, Radha says she had been interested in teaching since her school and college days. Inspired by her father, who is also a professor in the Department of Botany, Radha decided to take up teaching as her profession.

Recalling her childhood, Radha reminisces about spending her days in their village, where she would bond with cows on their farm. After completing her primary education in her village, she relocated to Udaipur and completed the rest of her schooling there.

Discussing her educational qualifications, Radha says she pursued her BSc from Mira Girls College, followed by an MSc from Science College, and a PhD.

When asked about her struggles, Radha says she faced difficulty transitioning from a village to a city since she did not even know how to speak Hindi. During that time, her father and brother helped her adjust to her surroundings.

Talking about her role models, Radha says she finds inspiration in Swami Vivekananda and his quote, "Arise awake and stop not till the goal is reached."

Drawing a comparison between education and experience, Radha says she feels that education is a must, while experience is something that you gain with time. She says that if one is technically sound and knows how to deal with challenges, then they can grow phenomenally in life. On that note, Radha says that today’s youth should focus more on practical learning.

When asked about her mistakes, Radha says that mistakes are the next step towards success and that one should keep moving forward despite challenges and find their destination lying in front of them.

Sharing her pandemic experience, Radha says that her students helped her out in carrying out online sessions and in the technical aspects of conducting online classes.

If Radha could travel back in time via a time machine, she would relive her early days spent running behind the cows and the abundance nature offered at that time.

In her message to aspiring teachers, Radha emphasises the importance of comprehending the psychology of your students and undergoing advanced learning courses to enhance their teaching abilities.

During her free time, Radha enjoys going for walks, planning activities, and finding solace in her connection with God. The peaceful moments of her mornings are enhanced by the presence of parrots that visit her, providing an opportunity to feed and connect with them.
