Believing in getting everything on the basis of her passion, Radha works in short films, movies, and television ads. She believes that working hard in silence will get you everything you want in your life.

Radha Bhardwaj is an Actor, Model, Writer, and an Engineer. She has been in the acting field since the time of her schooling.

Radha hails from Dehradun. She began doing  theater in Dehradun itself. Thereafter, she started getting more and more offers for movies, short films, and more. However, after completing her graduation, she observed that the theater opportunities were limited in Dehradun and decided to move to Mumbai to explore more. She got her first ad through a casting director in Mumbai, and then she started doing more ads, television shows, and movies and her journey continued after that.

Talking about her interest in the acting field, Radha says that she was inclined towards the field since her childhood. She used to mimic the television comedians in her childhood days. Her uncle was the head  of the Doon Club, and so she used to perform there in every event. When she was in eleventh standard she came to know that theater is performed commercially also and that is when she started performing outside in various theaters. After that, she started getting more and more opportunities locally and outside, and she started growing her interest in the field.

Recalling her childhood memories, Radha says that her childhood was very interesting. She grew up in a big joint family and every day was like a festival with her family. She shares the memory of celebrating every festival with her siblings and having a blast. Also, she, along with her cousins, used to play a lot of games. Her family had always been very supportive throughout and her childhood was really fun.

Speaking about her journey to date, Radha says that after she completed her engineering, she was offered a job at Wipro through campus placement.  But, on the day she had to go to join Wipro in Delhi, she made  the biggest decision of her life and chose to go to Mumbai to follow her passion for acting, despite being the only girl from her batch who had been selected by Wipro.

Initially, it was very tough for her in Mumbai when she started giving auditions. There she started meeting new people, but due to her introverted nature, nothing worked for her for two-three years. However, soon she realized that personal relationships are really important in the acting industry and she improved with time. Sharing about her achievements, Radha says her first achievement was  when she got selected for an NSD workshop in Dehradun. When she started working professionally in the industry, she got an offer to shoot for the shampoo brand Nyle after that she also became the brand ambassador for the brand CavinKare.

Also, got her book published which carried all her poems. Also, a great achievement for her is to be accepted for her work by the people around her. She says that currently, she is working as a show designer and a writer for Walktalk Radio, which gives her a lot of pride. Every single break, be it a movie, short film, or an advertisement, is an achievement for her, says Radha. The biggest achievement for her to date is that she got the best actress award at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Film Festival for her film ‘Afsos’ and also her short film ‘Coffee and Wine’ got selected by Film Companion.

When asked about her role models, Radha says that Smita Patil has been her role model throughout her journey.

Talking about stress, Radha says that she has faced a lot of depressing times in her life and every time there is something wrong in her life, she gives a call to her mom and shares everything with her.

Sharing her life mantra, Radha says that she believes in “What you are seeking is seeking you.”  She also follows the Law of Attraction as her life mantra.
