I like hard working people. Whether their work is big or small, if they do it diligently, I would try to help them.

Rachna Bhardwaj is posted as a Lecturer of Geography at the Government Senior Secondary School, Madar. Her passion for teaching and her amicable composure helps her students to continuously do better.
Rachna was born and brought up in Udaipur. She spent a good amount of time of her childhood in the RNT Medical College campus, as her father was posted there.
In between the initial stages of her career, Rachna was married. And due to this, she couldn’t focus properly on her career. However, with the support of her husband and her family, she again started working and became a school lecturer.
Rachna had started her teaching career way back in 1994, with the Central Public School in Udaipur. She became a lecturer in 1999 and has been teaching in Madar for the past nine years.
Rachna recalls that the lockdown period was really terrifying, especially for the teachers as most government teachers were assigned COVID duties. Nevertheless, Rachna did her job efficiently as she is also the Vice-Principal of her school.
Rachna says if someone wants to get into the government service, he/she will have to maintain a good academic record especially from their tenth standard onwards. After that, you should pursue a professional course accordingly followed by clearing a competitive exam. The only success mantra to clear the exam is doing hard work.
According to Rachna, as a teacher, you have to be both strict and lenient, and compassionate with the students, as per the requirement of the situation. She says, you also have to be a role model to your students and inspire them through example.
Whenever she gets free time, Rachna prefers to travel, visit nature and historic places. She also enjoys painting and decorations, she believes that this hobby of hers is genetic as her father is also an award-winning artist.
Rachna believes that in her profession, education is paramount. But after getting into the service, experience is what helps you to do well and live your profession.
Rachna says, professionally, her role model is the Director of Central Public School - Mrs. Alka Sharma and she still learns from her. Personally, her father is her role model whose methodological and disciplined approach towards life inspires her.
Her only regret is that she didn’t get enough guidance to become a College Professor, despite being eligible. If she could go back in time, she would like to help herself achieve her dream.
Rachna's leadership style is an amicable one. She believes in considering everyone's opinions and ideas before taking action. As a Vice-Principal, she has implemented this in her work style and has set an example.
Rachana admires and supports hardworking people and values efforts over results.
