Rachel is a media professional who also takes immense joy in the art of dancing.

Rachel Abraham works in the Media Industry. She is also a self-taught hip-hop artist.

Rachel is basically a Malayali, born and brought up in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Growing up, she was interested in dance and was encouraged by her parents too.

Rachel shares that dancing soothes her soul and makes her feel like a part of herself. It’s been about a year that she has continued dancing after losing touch with it after her college. She has become quite popular on Instagram too through her dance videos.

Talking about the struggles she has faced as an artist, Rachel says being a girl, she had to face sexism while choosing her career. She also says that to pursue your passion for arts you have to have a day job supporting your finances, leaving you with some time to practise your art. This was also a huge challenge for her. However, she says that her parents have always been very supportive throughout her whole journey.

Talking about her COVID experience, Rachel says that although it was devastating for many, it was also a blessing in disguise. She goes on to say that people finally got the time to introspect and spend time with their families. On a personal level, she says that she rejuvenated herself through dance during the lockdown period.

Rachel considers her mother to be her role model. She says that even though her mother didn’t get the chance to study much, she ensured good education for her children while going through numerous issues personally. Rachel is really grateful to her mother for raising her to be a good and educated woman.

Given a chance to go back to her past via a Time Machine and change something about it, Rachel says that she would like to pick up dance early on.
