Although he never planned to join the Physiotherapy field, Rabindra’s destiny drew him towards the field where he is helping his patients ardently.

Rabindra Kumar is a Physiotherapist at his clinic Divine Health Care. He also provides his services part-time at various hospitals.

Rabindra Kumar hails from Ranchi, Jharkhand. He completed his school from Ranchi itself, then he pursued a Zoology course for two years. In second year, he got selected at a reputed educational institute - SVNIRTAR, Cuttack. He left his graduation in the second year and joined the institute in Cuttack.

Rabindra completed his physiotherapy degree in 2002 and started practising under a senior Physiotherapist in Akola. However, his homesickness brought him home where he started his own Physiotherapy clinic after not being able to get a job anywhere else. Although he faced difficulty initially as people 15-20 years back were not much aware about physiotherapy, he gradually started receiving patients.

When asked about his role models, Rabindra says that his HOD during his graduation period, and his medical mentors are the ones who inspire him.

To the aspiring physiotherapists, Rabindra says that you should study hard with dedication. He believes that this field is only going to grow in future and that it carries immense opportunities. He also advises them to always be ready to tend to patients and keep themselves up-to-date with the newest developments in the field.

During his free time, Rabindra likes playing sports for recreation, spending time with his family, and listening to music.
