Inspired by Alok School’s vision, Purnima joined the school as a teacher and has been serving the institution for more than a decade.

Purnima Sharma is a Teacher at the Alok Sr. Sec. School, Rajsamand. She is also the in-charge of the Kids Planet in the school.

Originally from Nagpur, Purnima is currently settled in Rajsamand, Rajasthan. Academically, she has done M.A. in both Hindi and English, followed by a B.Ed. She says that she had always dreamt of becoming a teacher.

Purnima moved to Udaipur after getting married. Subsequently, she joined Alok School and has been associated with it for the past 13 years.

Sharing her experience of the COVID pandemic, Purnima says that it became quite difficult to manage things during that period as her husband had lost his job. However, she says that the crucial support given by the Alok School management helped her sail through these testing times. She also learned how to teach through the online mode, during the pandemic.

Speaking of role models, Purnima says that her father is her biggest role model who has taught her crucial life skills. Professionally, she says she has learned a lot from the multifaceted skills and sound knowledge of the director of Alok School - Dr. Pradeep Kumawat. Whenever Purnima gets time, she visits her native place - Nagpur, which she says is rejuvenating for her. She also likes reading books in her free time and upgrading her knowledge.

Given a chance to go back in time with a time machine, Purnima would like reliving her childhood.
