An educator and social worker, Puneet is a man of principles who in his long-standing career has always struck a fine balance between his professional and social work.

Puneet Jain is an educator, motivator and social worker. He teaches English to students for various competitive examinations and also trains them in spoken English. Besides, he also works with various social organisations in the city and motivates people to donate blood, eyes, and organs.

Talking about his childhood, Puneet says that he was an ordinary student at school and balanced between academics and sports. But he would love to enhance his knowledge of languages. When other students read textbooks, he read newspapers and it helped him get command over both Hindi and English and also improved his general knowledge and made him an analytical person. He says that he was raised in an educational environment as his grandmother, mother and other members of the family were well educated.

After studying at different schools in the city, Puneet completed his school education. Then he went to Jaipur for his degree course. During his degree course, he researched Mnemonics, the learning and memory-enhancing techniques, and devised ways to learn new words of the English language with the help of root words.

Puneet highlights that in today’s scenario, time is running real fast and the competition that students face is cut-throat. But he says that students in his time were more disciplined and hard-working than those of today. He adds that earlier people would read comics and books for entertainment and information, but now people rather consume digital content which in a way is hampering the reading habits of people.

Puneet considers freedom fighter Bhagat Singh as his role model. Puneet appreciates Bhagat Singh’s spirit and wishes that if he could have even one-thousandth of Bhagat Singh’s spirit he would be obliged.

Puneet considers it as his achievement when he can do something for the society and the nation. Be it donating blood himself and encouraging others to do the same or motivating others by his inspirational seminars, he considers them as his achievements.

Puneet thinks that he is not a leader but a team player and motivator. He believes that a leader is someone who practises as well what he preaches.

Puneet’s message to the youth is that you may be modern in your views but at the same time, you should also consider the sacrifices of the people of yesteryears and make them your idols to make the nation great once again.

Puneet believes that education and experience both are important in life. He says that education facilitates you a platform to build upon further and your education helps you in whichever field you work in. And experience in life helps you in getting things done at a faster pace.

If he could go back in time and undo something, Puneet would want to work harder and study more. He would also like to mingle with his college friends more to make his network of friends that in turn will help him today in his work.

To conclude, Puneet requests people to recognise their bit toward society and the nation. He advises them to lead a life on the bedrock of ideals set by great people and our freedom fighters.
