An industrial entrepreneur and Rotary leader, Pukhraj Jain has grown the Kota stone industry while actively contributing to social welfare. Through business ethics, community service, and nation-building values, he believes in creating a positive impact beyond profit.

Pukhraj Jain is the Owner and Director of Suzuki Industries Kotawala, Jhalawar, and an active member of the Rotary Club of Brijnagar, Jhalawar. He is engaged in businesses related to Kota stone, Kota stone mining, and sandstone crushing, contributing significantly to the natural stone industry in the region.

Jain began his career in the Kota Stone business in the year 2000, driven by a strong desire to enter the industrial sector. Since Jhalawar had abundant raw material availability, he chose Kota Stone as his core industry. He initially started the business under the name Suzuki Kota Stone, and today, the work also operates under the name Unique Natural Stone. Over time, his business expanded steadily, and he ventured into Kota stone mining as well. At present, his mining operations cover multiple sectors and types of stone.

Director of Suzuki Industries Kotawala, Pukhraj Jain shares that his family already had connections with the Rotary Club, as several family members were associated with it. From a young age, he was familiar with Rotary’s values and activities. After his marriage, he officially joined the Rotary Club in 2005.

During his association with the club, he has served as both President and Secretary, actively participating in various initiatives. Through Rotary, he has been involved in numerous social service projects aimed at benefiting different sections of society. One of the initiatives closest to his heart was a large-scale program for persons with disabilities, which included distributing tricycles, providing artificial limbs, hearing aids, and other supportive equipment.

He firmly believes that there is no better platform than the Rotary Club for building meaningful fellowship. In Jhalawar, most respected and thoughtful individuals are members of Rotary, making it a strong network of positive-minded people. He feels that if someone moves to a new city and joins Rotary, they gain not only strong fellowship but also an opportunity to contribute to societal development, as Rotary naturally attracts people committed to positive change.

Reflecting on his early life, Pukhraj Jain mentions that he was born and raised in Jhalawar and comes from a business-oriented family. His family was traditionally involved in cloth and grocery businesses, but he aspired to work in the industrial sector. His father supported his ambitions wholeheartedly. He completed his education in Jhalawar and holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce (M.Com).

He believes that at every stage of life, someone or the other plays the role of a motivator. His list of inspirations is long and diverse. Anyone who works with discipline, runs a business ethically, contributes to society through activities like tree plantation, or demonstrates strong leadership becomes a source of inspiration for him. He believes in learning from every good practice he observes in life.

Expressing gratitude, he says that from the beginning of his life path until today, he feels truly blessed and deeply thankful to God. The lines that constantly motivate him are:

He strongly encourages people who wish to stay connected with positive individuals and build meaningful fellowship to join the Rotary Club. According to him, Rotary is easily approachable; one can connect with the President or Secretary, present their intent, and if found suitable, they are warmly welcomed into the club. He wholeheartedly recommends Rotary membership to everyone.

Sharing his thoughts on nation-building, Rotarian Pukhraj Jain says he believes that India must rediscover its identity. He reflects on the idea that India was once known as the “Golden Bird,” a land rich in values and cultural integrity. While there may have been a gap over time, he feels that if today’s youth collectively decide to revive these values, the nation can move forward again. By embracing goodness, abandoning negative practices, helping one another, and celebrating the progress of others, he believes India can reclaim its rightful identity on the global stage.
