Born in the picturesque city of Udaipur, Rajasthan, Professor Solanki completed his schooling at Maharana Mewar Public School, located in the historic City Palace premises of Udaipur. He went on to earn his law degree from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, followed by a PhD.

Before transitioning to academia, he practiced law as an advocate, gaining experience in district and sessions courts across Rajasthan. He also practiced at the High Court in Jodhpur, further enhancing his understanding of the legal system.
