Having spent a few years in the corporate world, Priyanka got into academia, where teaching and learning have become her favorite work for life.

Dr. Priyanka Choudhary is an Assistant Professor at Pacific University and has thirteen years of experience in the education field. She has a PhD in Management.

Recalling her early times, Priyanka says she studied at St. Teresa School, Udaipur followed by her graduation from BN Girls College in Udaipur itself. Thereafter, she pursued her masters at Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University.

Talking about her professional experience, Priyanka shares that she worked in corporate companies as an HR professional for four years. She later decided to change her path and get into teaching after having experienced long working hours and stressful days in the corporate world. Priyanka, as an assistant professor, has five research scholars pursuing PhDs under her supervision.

When asked about her role models, Priyanka says she draws inspiration from the honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has led India on a positive economic trajectory. She is equally inspired by philosopher Henry Fayol, who said that you get success only after encountering failures.

Drawing a comparison between education and experience, Priyanka says that while both are important, practical exposure takes the edge over theoretical knowledge. She adds that in recent times, your communication and experience have taken the front seat.

If Priyanka could travel back in time using a time machine, she would relive her college days, which she considers to be a time of learning and enjoyment.

Priyanka advises young people not to view their professional lives as a burden, but rather to enjoy their work more with each passing day.
