Priya has stood tough and strong as a pillar in the most challenging moments of her life. She is a successful woman today taking training sessions and helping people grow better in terms of their skills, personality and character.

Priya Sivadas is the Founder and Director of ‘Training for You’.

Priya has two passions in life- Training and Dancing. Her mission is to create a unique training institute where people would learn how to manage life using both their skills and character. Priya never compromises on love, trust and respect. She has been separated from her husband for the past ten years. She is a person with a lot of hobbies and interests.

Born in an orthodox and joint family, Priya believes that whatever God gives you in life is to make you a better person, so she has taken up all challenges boldly to evolve as a better human being.  She is currently in the process of writing a book connected with her childhood since she believes that her character has proved as the foundation for wherever she has reached today in life.

Priya studied in a Convent School and says she had been an innocent girl since her childhood, but her marriage changed everything. She had always wanted to be financially independent and make a career before settling down. She came to know that her husband-to-be was fighting cancer but she still married him to let him live and experience beautiful moments of life. However, things didn't pan out the way she had envisioned and she had to struggle a lot in eighteen years of her married life.

After some time,  she realized that her husband lacked financial management skills resulting in debts that shook up Priya. To her amazement, he absconded, leaving her alone to deal with the mess. At that point in time, she already had a baby in hand. Shortly, Priya received a divorce notice from her husband which left her dumbstruck and also impacted her mental health. But she had to keep strong with her little son by her side, not showing any grief in front of him and the public.

After five years of struggle, Priya won the case and had her husband begging her to have him back. Priya, who was pretty much clear in her mind to not accept him, ended up forgiving him for his son to have a father. She says this was the biggest mistake she made since her husband absconded again with his share of the property. Priya then gave up and finally decided to focus on her career for the well-being of her son.

If Priya could go back in a Time Machine, she would not like to change anything since she believes that the experiences she had in her married life made her a strong person as she is today.

Talking about her career ambitions, Priya says she wanted to have a business of her own but was not allowed to venture out during those times. She had been a good-ranker academically and wanted to pursue MBA. Her first job was in Marketing and she slowly got into the IT sector and landed a job in KPMG. However, after some time she decided to quit her job to support her husband in his career and manage her son at home. It shook her world when her husband got into bad practices like smoking and drinking and became ignorant to her and her son.

Priya then again started with her career with a small job in hand. After having it the hard way, Priya is the owner of Training and You today and has in a way fulfilled her dream of having her own business. As a trainer, Priya caters to all age groups with a focus on their overall character and personality.

Priya has had many mentors who supported her in her life journey. She mentions Dr Prasad whom she met at 22 who made her courageous enough to face life as it is.

Priya feels that one should be financially independent before getting married. She feels that trusting people so easily was a mistake she committed. Priya also feels being way too honest was not the right approach she chose to have.

Priya says that school education only gives you knowledge but to develop skills and character, one should train themselves. She tells the youth that they have three training tools to work on- Body, Mind and Spirit and her company focuses on Learning, Doing and Being. Priya suggests the youth not to expect quick results without action. She adds that the youth should focus on upskilling themselves. Priya shares that the youth should learn to be comfortable with any job and not try to prove themselves to society.

In her leisure time, Priya likes to indulge in reading, dancing and stitching. She is a Classical Dancer as well and likes to listen to good music whenever free. Priya is a voracious reader and networks well with people. She also likes to be amidst the mountains and enjoys traveling.
