Priya was born in Rohtak, Haryana, and brought up in Delhi. She is an aviation industry veteran with an experience of over a decade. Currently, she is working at Cloud Nine, a single speciality hospital in Gurgaon.
Priya says that struggles are perennial in life, and she too has had her fair share of struggles. She started out by working at a Mcdonald's outlet in Delhi. A lot of her batchmates used to make fun of her for working at a restaurant. But her mother always taught her that no work is big or small and she kept going. Then she worked at a newspaper agency by distributing newspapers. She learned the value of time management and it was a good experience for her. She is grateful to all the experiences in life that have helped her to get where she stands today in life.
During the coronavirus pandemic, Priya says that everyone was in a state of panic and a lot of people lost their loved ones, but she and her sister, who works at a government hospital, worked day and night to serve the nation. Their father always taught them to give back to society and work for its welfare.
Priya loves to read books. She says that books contain life stories of other people which may inspire us to achieve greater goals in life. She believes that one should always learn from the books they read and the people they meet throughout their lives.
Priya advises youngsters to be patient and focus on their goals. She believes that the biggest skill is to be able to listen to someone because it is the current need of the hour. She also urges them to give their best in whatever they pursue, and always try to strike a balance between their work life and personal life so that they can progress in both of them.
Priya emphasises the importance of education and says that work and education may be done simultaneously, but one should not mix one with the other. That way, a person would gain some from both the ends.
Priya’s role models in life are her parents who have taught her the value of work and time. She says that if a person is determined and works hard to reach their goals, nothing can stop them.
Priya concludes by saying that every day is a new chance for a person to change their lives completely and reach their destiny. So one should not give up and keep at it, because in the end, everything will add up to the journey.
