Priti Mithun Gore is a Yoga Acharya at Chaitanya Yoga and Fitness Centre, Vadodara
Priti has completed the course of ‘Yoga Pravin’ and is currently pursuing the course of ‘Yoga Pandit.’ Fourteen years ago, she had suffered from PCOD, and at that time, doctors recommended her to do yoga, and then gradually, her interest in it enhanced.
Recalling her childhood, Priti says that she had an asthma problem in her childhood. During her summer break, she visited a yoga camp and became interested in it. When the PCOD condition was discovered, yoga supported and assisted her greatly in surviving the ailment.
Priti shares that she completed her B.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Processing, and Preservation and also did a master's in Personnel Management. Along with this, she started yoga sadhana at the age of fourteen years. Yoga helped her control her health issues. She says that after her marriage, she began working and didn't have time to do yoga, which harmed her health. Then, after some time, she quit her job and again started doing yoga to improve her health. Eventually, she decided to choose yoga as a profession to make people aware of its benefits.
Sharing about her achievements, Priti says that she recently led a Yoga Nidra-related session for children in order to minimise their screening time. Improving her health and undertaking the yoga pandit degree are also accomplishments for her.
Priti’s role models are her teachers, who guided her at every step and taught her that incorporating yoga into her daily routine is helpful in improving and changing her life.
In her spare time, Priti likes to do new experiments with cooking and play games with her kids.
To beat stress, she does Yoganidra, meditation, and breathing exercises.
Priti’s life mantra is to face the problems and try to find the solutions. She believes that discipline is important and that one should never give up in life.
Advising the young generation, Priti says that it is essential to live a yogic lifestyle in order to improve one's health and combat sickness, thereby extending one's life. There is no age restriction for learning yoga, and to stay in this profession for a long time, one should master scientific yoga.
