An empathetic individual, Preeti has always had a strong desire to help others and find solutions to their problems. Not only does she work as a social worker, but she also practises healing.

A social worker, Preeti Singh also practises naturopathy, acupuncture, and healing. For the past twelve years, she has worked in the field of social service and also educates children who were unable to finish their education for various reasons. In addition, she is the coordinator and ‘sewadar’ for Delhi of the Adhyayan Foundation.

Explaining how her interest in healing developed, Preeti states that ever since she was a young child, she felt motivated to help others. In the healing practices, she learned Reiki during her college years. She believes it's a universal energy that exists within you and may be used to treat physical or mental ailments in others. She gained knowledge about how energy, vibrations, and the knowledge of ‘chakras’ can be used to heal people.

She tried giving Reiki to a relative with sleep related problems, and was amazed by the results which solidified her belief in the technique's efficacy. She had a lot of wonderful experiences after that. She encourages everyone to take up the spiritual realm and learn reiki.

Hailing from Jammu, Preeti had a pretty normal childhood.  Her parents encouraged her to engage herself in social service. Her mother taught her the importance of selfless service. Thereafter, she graduated from Jammu University and got married.

After being married, she kept practising naturopathy and reiki treatment. She progressed in her profession and learned how to read tarot cards. She considers herself lucky to have an understanding spouse and in-laws who support her in pursuing her goals.

Preeti doesn't really have any role models, although she draws inspiration from her husband and father. She also expresses her gratitude to Shri Sadguru Dalip Singh ji, her guru, who has acted as a lifelong mentor to her. She also works for an organisation that her guru started and shares her experiences to motivate others. She encourages everyone to live such a life by doing good for others that they may remember you even after your death.

Preeti reveals that, as a woman, she encountered criticism for engaging in social work from members of her own community. She also had to oversee her professional life and her household which was tough. Regardless of the negative social perception, her spouse has never stopped supporting her.

Among her accomplishments, she lists her affiliation with the BJP and her appointment to a state-level position. She's also associated with the Human Rights Commission. She also works as a ‘Police Mitra’. Her greatest achievement has been receiving recognition for her efforts and for being part of people's happiness.

Preeti advises individuals wishing to pursue healing to always be grounded and to always have compassion and love for their clients. She encourages people who want to work in the social field to carry on boldly and without regard for what other people may think.

Preeti’s message for the youngsters and their parents is to communicate with patience and attempt to understand one another.
