Preeti Agrawal is the CEO of Pacific Medical College and Hospital, Udaipur. She is successfully handling both her work as a CEO as well as her household duties as a mother.

Preeti Agrawal hails from Mumbai. She acquired all her education from Mumbai before she shifted to Udaipur. She started her journey as an entrepreneur after her marriage. She was a jewellery designer at a very good company but after her marriage, she joined her husband in his family business as a CEO at Pacific Medical College and Hospital, which is a well known name in the city of lakes when it comes to providing high quality medical services.

Initially, Preeti was worried about all her household responsibilities and her kids. Her only aim was to provide them with education and upbringing of the highest quality, which she was successful at. After the weight of her responsibilities started subduing, she joined her husband. Coming from a commerce background, it was really amazing for Preeti to work with the doctors and other medical staff. She says she loves her journey so far as she is happy to help people who are in need and also because her profession teaches her a lot everyday.

Preeti recalls the instance when she got her first check as a jewellery designer and went shopping with all the amount she received. She says it was a very precious moment for her as it was her own hard earned money.

Coming from Mumbai, Udaipur was very boring for Preeti initially as she had nothing to do. She was just killing her time by sleeping and doing odd things throughout the day before realizing that she was still young and there was a lot she could do. That was the day she threw her blanket out of her house and started taking interest in work. Since then, she has never looked back again.

Talking about the pandemic, Preeti says it was a sweet and sour experience for her. Sweet because she got a lot of time to spend with her kids, who would rather have been in their hostels if Covid had not forced them to come home. She learned cooking and also took time out for artistic things. Sour because the medical condition during the pandemic was very bad. Her hospital and college were struggling to cope up with the disease and for once she was afraid to see a lot of people dying. But she didn't give up. Along with her husband, her team of doctors and management, she was able to provide the best medical facilities to all the people who needed them consistently throughout the pandemic. She was also very strong to bring all her administration together and strengthen all of her staff to not lose hope.

Preeti's advice for young women is to be self-confident and self-dependent. She believes if you trust yourself and become confident, everything will fall in place for you. She thinks one should never give up because success comes after failure and hard work always pays off.

Preeti's role model in life is her husband, Rahul. He is always there whenever she needs him and she thinks he is the one who has taught her how to have control over anger. She considers herself lucky to have someone in her life who is her friend as well as her life partner.

The best moment of Priti’s life was when her kids were born and she held them in her hands. She says it was a magical feeling and to see how much her kids have grown up makes her very happy. If she could, she would want to shrink them again and have them in her arms.

Other than her profession, Priti is very much into artistic and creative things. During the pandemic she started practicing Mandala art which was appreciated by all of her friends and colleagues.
