Praveen Vaishnav is a Senior Faculty at Anushka Academy, Udaipur. He has been teaching for the last five years. He says that he has a passion for teaching and likes to interact with students and prepare them for civil services.
Praveen belongs to Udaipur. He says there has always been an atmosphere of study in his house, and everyone in his family is educated. He has been very fond of computers since childhood. During college, he was a badminton player and was interested in games and sports.
Praveen’s role model is Swami Vivekananda, and is inspired by his quote, "Arise awake and stop not till the goal is reached."
Praveen says that due to the poor financial condition of his family, he decided to study in a government school after 10th class rather than in a private school so that his parents’ money could be saved. So he completed his 11th & 12th from Government Guru Gobind Singh Sr. Sec. School, Udaipur. He says that because he had a good percentage in 10th std, he took Science-Maths in 11th.
Regarding the coaching industry, especially in UPSC preparation, Praveen feels that learning has evolved in the last few years and will continue to grow as people move towards building vital concepts rather than gaining just bookish knowledge. He says that the education level in India is gradually rising. He feels that technology plays a crucial role in the education industry as classrooms have been converted into smart rooms, and the teaching has been shifted to online platforms.
Praveen advises the newcomers to the teaching line that you have to work very hard to have a command over your subject, and you have to study hard. This hard work will never go in vain, and you will achieve a lot in life. So, you have to increase your experience of teaching, knowledge, and reading - only then will you be able to succeed in life.
In his free time, Praveen loves to watch games and sports.
If Praveen could go back in time, he would like to relive his college life.
