A multifaceted individual, Praveen Singh seamlessly juggles managing family businesses, running cafes, and spearheading an NGO, focusing on animals and humans in need. Inspired by his grandfather, he dedicates himself to social causes like animal welfare and community support.

Hailing from Rajsamand and currently living in Udaipur, Praveen Singh Chouhan is involved in managing his family's businesses and cafes. Alongside this, he has started an NGO called 'Baby Raj' dedicated to various social causes, including helping both animals and humans. The NGO operates through teams spread across different areas and villages.

Praveen's passion for social work was inspired by his grandfather's selfless service to the Bhil community by providing for their basic necessities. After his grandfather's death, Praveen felt compelled to continue this legacy of social service.

As a child, Praveen loved dogs and was distressed by their mistreatment stemming from fear of rabies. Instead of looking away, he helped them by feeding them and playing with them. This drove his work for animal welfare.

One Baby Raj initiative involves rescuing cows with lumpy skin disease and arranging medical aid for them. He urges people to assist injured animals instead of ignoring them.

Recalling a childhood incident, he says he once rescued an abused Indian breed puppy and gave it a home. This taught him the loyalty and intelligence of native breeds, which he feels are overlooked compared to foreign breeds.

In Praveen's view, there is a prevailing trend among people to favour foreign dog breeds over Indian breeds as pets. He laments that Indian breeds often do not receive the same level of promotion and attention, despite their unique qualities and intelligence.

He also highlights the importance of respecting cows and not neglecting them once they stop producing milk, as it can lead to their suffering and untimely death.

During stressful times, Praveen finds solace in playing with his pets, helping him forget his worries.

When he started the NGO, Baby Raj, he faced financial struggles, but with the support of like-minded people and diligent saving, the NGO grew and achieved success. The NGO has provided food, medicine, and educational supplies to those in need.

Praveen says that he once carried out a remarkable rescue of a cow from an area prone to electrical shocks, and this incident was captured on video, gaining attention from news channels. When his family and relatives saw the heartwarming rescue video, they felt incredibly proud of his work.

He advises the younger generation not to procrastinate and to give their best effort in pursuing their goals.

For those in need or willing to support the cause, they can contact his NGO, Baby Raj, through their Facebook and Instagram pages. Donations are also welcome to further their humanitarian efforts.
