Being into extracurriculars since his childhood, Pratyush became a Musician who believes in focusing on the small things in life and finding happiness in those despite focusing on the bigger picture.

Pratyush Upadhyay is a Bhopal-based artist. He is a musician by profession and does painting by choice. Pratyush was born in Dhar and brought up in Bhopal.

Recalling his childhood memories, Pratyush says that he has had a very privileged life since his childhood. He never had to struggle to pursue his profession, he says. His parents always encouraged him to be into extra-curricular activities along with academics. Since his childhood, he used to perform on stage and grew up learning multiple things apart from his studies.

Sharing about his journey, Pratyush says that he indulged in sports a lot during his childhood, however, he met with an accident and moved towards dancing after recovery. Later on, in his college, he met a friend who introduced him to music and that is where his journey began. Thereafter, he started learning how to play the Guitar and has been into music since then.

When asked about his achievements throughout his journey, Pratyush says that there have been many. He says that he has always been very achieving since his childhood. Several medals in sports, and getting recognition in dancing were some of his achievements during his childhood. Regarding his professional accomplishments, he says that one of his biggest achievements is having his own music studio where he composes and edits music. Curating an entire team is yet another achievement for him. Having a band and performing at several renowned places has also been a win for him. Going to Mumbai and working on various films was also an achievement for him.

Regarding his mistakes, Pratyush says that he has never made any kind of major mistake in his professional life.

Talking about his role models, Pratyush says that Steven Wilson, a musician from the UK has been his role model and he closely follows his philosophies in his life. Also, his mother and his friend, Rohan Pathak, and some of his other friends have been his role models.

When free, Pratyush loves to play football with his friends. He also enjoys doing day-to-day basic activities in his free time. He also likes cycling and spending time with nature, he says.

To deal with stress, Pratyush prefers doing breathing exercises. He says that some things are not in his control, therefore he tries to let things be the way they are and does anything that brings peace to his mind.
