As a freelance anchor who feels that the field of anchoring is slowly progressing, Pratiksha advises the youth to maintain a diary to jot down their future plans. She feels that what you like is what you should work for in life.

Pratiksha Dave is a freelance anchor from Udaipur. She has been in this field for the past eleven years.

Pratiksha says that when she started in this field, there was not much awareness about anchoring. However, her father had been an enthusiast of anchoring and related stuff and hence Pratiksha got all the needed support from him.

She participated in an RJ hunt by 95 F.M. and came in the top ten. From there she came into contact with other anchors and started getting freelance shows and events.

Pratiksha says that she has been doing news anchoring as well for the past eight years.

Talking about her inspirations, Pratiksha says that in the starting phase of her career, her father supported her and used to accompany her to her shows. She also takes inspiration from anchors Pradeep Pandey and Kavya Sharma and wants to follow in their footsteps.

Pratiksha says that her success mantra in life is to keep doing your work and not worry about challenges.

In her free time, she likes to grab a cup of coffee and find a secluded corner for herself to enjoy it. She also likes sketching and getting along with her friends.
