Pratibha Mandawat has been working as a PRT-Maths at Rockwoods High School in Udaipur for four years.
Pratibha was born and brought up in Udaipur. She says teaching is her passion. She likes to teach mathematics. She always remembers and follows her father’s words of advice- ‘If you do something good, then don’t go talking about it.’
Talking about the journey of her life, Pratibha says that before joining Rockwoods she had also taught at Delhi Public School. At Rockwoods she has learned the values of life. She has been inspired by the Director and the Principal of the school and by many other staff members.
Sharing about her achievements, Pratibha says that she has always enjoyed success and she never felt down in her life. She says that the love and respect received from her students are her greatest achievements.
When free, she likes to do art and craft, dance with her daughter and also likes to visit different places in her spare time.
To the students, Pratibha advises them to learn and keep practicing mathematics. She also suggests that they should never be afraid of the subject.
When asked about role models in her life, Pratibha says that she considers her sister as her role model from whom she had learned to manage time and give the best presentations.
Sharing about her Covid experience, Pratibha says that she and her two best friends have built a building in which they live together. During the pandemic, they enjoyed and spent time with each other. She lost some of her family members which was the horrible part of her pandemic experience.
To one and all, Pratibha advises them that they should be attentive and focused on their work. Also, they should participate in lots of cultural activities and make themselves smarter.
