An Assistant Professor, Prateek Jangid, is teaching law at Manikya Lal Verma Shramjeevi College. He is proud of being an educator.

Prateek Jangid completed his LLB and his LLM in Constitution in 2014. He has qualified for the NET examination twice. He then began pursuing a Ph.D. in advanced law practices at Guru Gobind Singh University of Legal Studies after his first attempt. After his second successful attempt at the NET, he became an assistant professor at Manikya Lal Verma Shramjeevi College of Law.

Prateek is very proud of his profession, as he believes it demands one to undertake a major responsibility of imparting education to the coming generations. In his opinion, one should be aware of the fundamental rights and duties mentioned in the constitution. Legal knowledge is important for everyone, rich or poor, alike. Prateek advises that if a person is not interested in the academic profession after pursuing law, they can apply for Rajasthan Judicial Services, as in his opinion, justice is as noble a profession to uphold as is education. According to him, the facilities available to exercise justice should be made known to every citizen of the country.

Recalling his childhood, Prateek mentions that he completed his schooling in Biroli. He used to participate in Independence Day and Republic Day parades, which are some of the most precious memories from his childhood.

According to Prateek, the pandemic taught us to be self-reliant. From a professional standpoint, there was initially the challenge of taking online classes for university students. He mentions that there was no proper communication among certain students as not everyone belonged to a household possessing good internet connectivity. However, he managed to teach all of them through improvisation and the distribution of notes. From a personal viewpoint, Prateek believes that the pandemic has made us more sensitive to the value and importance of health.

Prateek's father worked in the education sector and inspired him to pursue a career in education. His father always used to say that a professor should teach his students in such a manner that they can participate in the lectures. It is important to pay attention to the problems of every student, as they are the future of the country, and it is a teacher who shapes the future of the country.

Prateek asserts that discipline is the most important quality to have when practising law. The ability to read, understand, and write is the next requirement because every case is complex and might take a long time to prepare for and in between hearings. According to him, this profession has many facets and subfields, giving law students a lot of options.

When he is not busy, Prateek likes to play badminton. He represented his school and college in intrastate and interstate competitions. Apart from that, he is always ready to solve the doubts of his students at any time, offering free consulting and legal advice.

According to Prateek, one should first and foremost draw inspiration from oneself before turning to one's parents for guidance. Additionally, one ought to honor the martyrs and patriots who gave their lives valiantly for the nation.

On a concluding note, Prateek advises to always strive to gain more knowledge and experience because, in contemporary times, one must always be prepared against unforeseen circumstances.
