Prashant Tyagi is a Cricket Coach at Master Blaster Cricket Academy, Kota. He has over six years of experience coaching players of all ages. His focus lies on enhancing their skills, providing mentorship, and keeping them motivated.
Prashant’s passion for cricket was sparked while watching Sourav Ganguly lead the Indian team to the finals of the 2003 World Cup. This motivated him towards a career in cricket, either as a player or a coach. Originally from Kota, he completed his schooling there. He loved playing and discussing cricket. Later, he pursued engineering at the ARYA Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jaipur. Thereafter, he joined the Master Blaster Cricket Academy.
Prashant draws inspiration from his father and is influenced by Harbhajan Singh, particularly due to their shared role as off-spin bowlers. He learned valuable lessons by observing Singh's game, which he now incorporates into coaching his students.
According to Prashant, pursuing one's interests diligently is key to overcoming challenges and achieving success. He recalls that during his time, finding matches to play was challenging, but nowadays, players have access to various facilities and abundant opportunities to gain real playing experience. His academy regularly organizes tours and matches to provide ample opportunities for growth.
Having played cricket at the school and college levels and representing the Master Blaster Cricket Academy, Prashant strives to provide training to young players, thus helping them reach higher levels in their cricket journey.
For aspiring sports enthusiasts, Prashant advises discipline and hard work, emphasizing that failure is a stepping stone to success. Analyzing mistakes is crucial for personal growth, says Prashant.
Addressing the younger generation, he encourages them to identify their areas of interest and work towards growth in those fields.
