Prasenjit Paul is an Artist, Musician, and a Music Educator. He has been playing music since he was four years old. He did his graduation in Indian Classical music and thereafter he got interested in western music. He has been practicing and playing western music since then.
When asked how he got into a Music career, Prasenjit says that he never thought of being a musician and being into drama. His career path was quite accidental but during his teen years, he realized his hidden love for music, convinced his mother, and started practicing.
Talking about his accomplishments, Prasenjit says that he has never worked for achievements, rather he plays music for himself. Music is a journey that keeps going once you embark on it. He further adds that his real achievement is playing music and enjoying the process.
Speaking about his mistakes, Prasenjit says that he has not made any major mistakes as of now. He has always found himself making the right decisions and at the end of the day, it is all about learning. He says that dropping college was one of his mistakes which he is actually proud of.
When asked about his role models, Prasenjit says that his mother is the one for him. He says that his mother is the one who sacrificed a lot to make her children achieve their goals.
Regarding his hobbies, Prasenjit says that he is interested in sports, theater, and geopolitics. Further, he adds that he loves to roam around and spend time with nature and friends sometimes.
Relating himself to music, Prasenjit says he believes that music is everywhere around and he feels like a part of it.
To deal with his anxiety, Prasenjit prefers listening to musical documentaries or calling his friends and talking.
Prasenjit believes in being true to his art and being true to himself. That is what motivates him to become a successful artist, he says.
