Prarthana Dayanand Vyavahare is the founder of Paradox India, a media platform she started during the lockdown phase. Prarthana says that she was doing her diploma in Journalism when, during an internship in the same field, she decided to start her own platform.
Talking about Paradox India, Prarthana says that it is a media and journalism platform where they focus on taking interviews and covering the news and entertainment sections.
Speaking about her childhood, she says that it was a great time for her, and she focused on developing different skills. She was into sports, music, dance, and painting and loved multitasking. She developed her skills in different fields, and that is helping her in the present time.
Talking about her journey, Prarthana says that after 10th standard, she went to Kota to prepare for NEET. She learned to work hard and developed the skills to struggle. It also helped her create a good network. In her first attempt at NEET, she didn't get satisfactory results and dropped a year, and that was the COVID year as well. It took a toll on her health, and she eventually shifted to doing a BBA-LLB course along with pursuing CS.
When asked about her mistakes, Prarthana says that though she has made mistakes , the biggest mistake was letting the impact of them affect her deeply. Prarthana says that worrying too much about small things in life and letting it affect her confidence was a mistake. Also, she thinks if she would have made certain decisions quicker, it would have helped her get opportunities that she missed.
Sharing about her achievements, Prarthana says that getting the unconditional support of her team, which comes from different parts of India like Karnataka, Gujarat, Shillong, etc., is an achievement for her. Prarthana says that getting interviews with people they thought they could never get, like Rohman Shawl, Sakshi Sindwani, Dolly Jain, Himanshu Malhotra, etc., is also a big thing for her as they are a budding company, and it defines growth.
Talking about her role models, Prarthana says that she has no particular inspiration as her goals keep changing, but she takes inspiration from successful women in industry and business like Falguni Nayar, Tanya Appachu, and Dolly Jain.
Prarthana feels that the concept of mental peace is very subjective, as everyone has different reasons and remedies for it. However, she says that she has recently realized the power of routine and the pleasure that comes from ticking things off your daily plan. She also resorts to activities like Zumba and dancing, which help her clear her mental space. She also loves aromatherapy and journaling in her free time.
When asked about her life mantra, Prarthana says that it is “Nothing is hard to achieve in life.”
