Pranay is a musician excelling in different lanes of it. He wants to be a complete package for the music industry and is working hard to achieve that.

Pranay Sharma is a Singer, Song Writer, Music Composer, Producer, and an Author. He has a Diploma in Sound Engineering.

Pranay belongs to a small village situated about 60 Km from Indore. He shares that from an early age he was interested in music and songs. He had less interest in traditional careers and wanted to opt for a career in the Music Industry. He says that it was tough to convince his parents as they had no links or association with this field.

Pranay says that he started singing from his school days and won prizes in it. Slowly Pranay realized that along with Singing he could also go for Lyrics writing and composing new songs. He now calls himself a composer more than a singer.

Pranay feels that a song should come from the soul and should have a feeling attached to it. He also works on the principle of creating soulful music. He shares that as a writer he was selected in Top 10 writers in ‘India Prime Icon competition’. Pranay wants to deliver himself as a complete package and not be limited to a single field in Music.

Pranay feels that Digitalization has helped new artists and provided them with easier ways to popularize their art. Earlier, to go into this field everyone had to go to Mumbai and work under some senior and established person. It used to be a much tougher journey. However, now anyone can post their content on YouTube-like platforms for free and get more recognition. Also, the spectrum of genres has also become wide and the Music Industry has come out of the garb of Bollywood and created its own identity.

Pranay says that new aspirants of this field should take care of the content first and focus on retaining their individuality and not getting lost. Consistency is very important in this field in his opinion.

Pranay says that he takes inspiration from everyone around him. He feels that everyone has experiences to share and we can learn from them. He is inspired by artists like Vishal Mishra and Sidhu Moose Wala. Pranay tries to learn from their nature and art.

Pranay feels that artists are introverts by nature and hence have deep feelings. Initially, he did not get any listeners or appreciators of his art. But he never gave up and kept moving in life to achieve what he wanted.
