Pramod Singh is currently working as a service engineer. He stresses the importance of education in life and wishes that had he gotten a good education he would be in a better position.

Pramod Singh hails from the Alwar district in Rajasthan. He completed his schooling in Alwar. After completing his schooling education he earned a polytechnic diploma. Post completion of his diploma one of his friends referred him to a job in Gurgaon. He worked for Shyam Telecoms in Gurgaon. Later he switched to Motherson and worked there for a couple of years. When he was looking for a better opportunity, one of his friends referred him to Lavazza Fresh Honest Cafe Ltd. for the post of service engineer. Since 2007, he has been working with this company. His work at the company involves the maintenance of the coffee dispensing machines that his company installs at various hotels and cafes.

Pramod says that when he joined Lavazza Fresh Honest Cafe Ltd. he was put on a contract. Later, considering his hard work, he was made a permanent employee of the company. Now he is optimistic about his future and his wards’ education.

Pramod considers his father his role model. His father always taught him that work hard with honesty and honesty shall always pay off.

To anyone who wants to be a technician or a service engineer, Pramod advises that this profession is full of challenges. You have to be on your toes all the time as any of your clients can call you up any time regarding maintenance issues. Besides, being patient and not losing your cool will help you survive in this profession.

Pramod thinks that in his professional career his experience has mattered more than his education. He says that whilst working you make connections with a lot of people. And this network of yours also helps in the future if you want to do your own business.

Reflecting on his childhood, Pramod says that he would walk miles to go to school. There were four siblings in his family and his father was the sole bread-winner of the family. And it was very hard for him to provide all of them a good education. He would work at his field and look after his cattle after returning from school. He wishes that had he gotten a good education he would be better off in his life.

Apart from his job, Pramod likes to spend time with his family and kids. He also ensures to be in touch with his friends and loved ones by conversing with them over phone.
