Pramila Chauhan is a Teacher at Central Public School, Udaipur.
Pramila Chauhan hails from Udaipur. She says that being the first girl child in the family, she was the favourite one and thus she naturally had a very lavish childhood. She did her graduation from MG College, Udaipur.
After completing her graduation, Pramila got married. Shortly after her marriage, her brother-in-law passed away which made her think about getting a job in case of a future mishap, so she joined CPS and has been working there for 12 years as a Mother Teacher in the play-group section.
Talking about her role models, Pramila says that she considers Mrs. Alka Sharma, the Academic Director of CPS, as her role model. Pramila says that her devotion to education and her students is unmatched. Her liveliness and hard work also inspires Pramila.
Sharing her experience of the pandemic period, Pramila says that she had undergone a major operation and upon regaining consciousness the next morning, she got to know about the demise of her brother-in-law. She says that the ensuing months were very difficult for the whole family.
To the aspiring teachers, Pramila says that to become a teacher, you should have patience along with passion. She compares being a teacher to the process of pursuing a thesis to say that you must recognise the individuality of every child and act accordingly as your job is a crucial one.
Given a chance to go back in time through a Time Machine, Pramila would like going back to the period of her childhood, which was very active and joyful.
When free, Pramila likes spending time with herself and introspecting. She also likes embroidering, cooking, and reading the Bhagavad Gita.
