Prakhar was born and brought up in Indore. He did his schooling at St. Anne's Higher Secondary School, followed by his graduation in commerce. Thereafter, he moved to Mumbai to pursue his MBA at IBS, Mumbai. Prakhar spent four years in Mumbai and then came back to his city, Indore.

When asked about his role models, Prakhar says he draws inspiration from his father, who built a small empire for himself and his family. Prakhar aims to become a self-made man like his father.

Prakhar says that one needs to keep their mental and physical health in check while working in the corporate world. For this purpose, Prakhar makes sure to follow his hobbies, which include playing outdoor sports like football and cricket. He also likes to watch Formula 1 and play FIFA on his PlayStation. Prakhar often goes on long drives all alone to rejuvenate himself.

His success mantra is to never give up, despite unfavorable situations. He often abides by the saying, "This too shall pass."

Prakhar advises MBA aspirants to prepare themselves well for the CAT exam, personal interview, and group discussions to get into top colleges.
