Pragati is a student as well as an entrepreneur who has taken a very good initiative of helping the local artisans in getting them the right price and a new identity to their undervalued marble handicraft products by trading them internationally.

Pragati Lohar is an M.B.A. graduate and currently is working with an export firm as a customer executive. Also, she owns a Marble Handicraft business, where she exports the marble handicrafts made by local artisans. This initiative gives the local artisans a chance to get their products valued and used in the international markets.

Pragati has spent her childhood in Udaipur and completed her schooling from here itself. She is enjoying her college life now and she won the title of ‘Miss Fresher’ too.

During the Covid pandemic, initially it was boring and monotonous for Pragati but after some time she got used to it and started to enjoy her time with her family, read books and watched web series. Therefore, it was a good time for her.

Pragati opines that education and experience are equally important in life because primary education helps in laying the strong foundation of children, whereas experience also matters as most of the business tycoons are college dropouts. Hence, it’s not like education can only get you success but if you have good experience and you know the market tactics, you can be successful then too.

The one quality Pragati thinks that she has which helped her getting over the bad phases and failures in her life was that she learned from her mistakes and failures. She has never disappointed herself and never let her failures get over her head instead she improved herself in order to make herself a better person.

Talking about leadership, Pragati thinks that some of the leadership traits are inborn in a person and some can be developed through life experiences and efforts. Personally, she feels that she is good at convincing people along with considering everyone’s point of view before reaching a decision. So she thinks that a good leadership skill is that where everyone gets everyone together.

Given a chance to go back in time, Pragati would like to go back to her school time because she was a studious kid who missed out on all the fun so to enjoy that time she would like to revisit that time.
