Besides being an entrepreneur, Pradeep is a book lover using his knowledge to build his business better.

Pradeep Singh Parihar is the owner of The Curious House, a firm that deals in weapons, decorative swords, daggers etc. The firm also manufactures replica guns and is one of the oldest in India in this field. Pradeep claims his great-great-grandfather started this business in 1815, after which his father managed it and now Pradeep himself looks after it. His products are used in film shootings and exported abroad.

Pradeep was born and brought up in Udaipur and has done his schooling from MMPS. Pradeep has studied till 10th only since he had the zeal to join his parental business. However, he has gained so much knowledge that his incomplete education does not reflect in his personality and the way he deals with the customers.

Pradeep, having grown up in an environment full of guns and artillery, had started developing an interest in this field at an early stage of life. He came to Udaipur in 2000 and joined this business in 2001. Along with his father, he watched the workers manufacturing and repairing guns to have full knowledge of the product. He adds that technology has made his work easier and he has started getting business through the internet.

He considers his father and uncle as his role models who introduced him to the artillery business.

In his free time, Pradeep likes to read business-related and historical books and has a library of around two thousand books. He also loves cooking and likes to party over weekends.

He says that education is a must and one must have knowledge of their parental business to take it forward. He advises the youngsters to indulge in business and showcase their hidden talent and bring their ideas to reality.
