A freelance auditor for management systems, Pradeep likes to share his immense knowledge and experience in his field with others through training, education, and motivational speeches.

Pradeep Kumar Madhavan is an Electronics and Communications Engineer who completed his degree from Kerala University in 1981. Thereafter, he worked in Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Limited from 1981 to 2000. Then, in 2000 he took voluntary retirement and started working as a consultant there. He experienced multi-disciplinary exposure to different fields such as production, planning, sales, and purchase, among others. He learnt about certifications such as ISO 9000:1, 14000:1, and 27000:1 and also worked as an external auditor for various certifications till 2007. In 2007, he started working as an auditor for management systems at Bureau Veritas, one of the best certification bodies based in Bangalore.

Pradeep is currently living in Thiruvananthapuram and working as a freelance management systems consultant doing auditing for various bodies and is also an international tutor. He teaches soft skills along with management systems and gives motivational speeches as well. Pradeep is a member of several professional bodies and voluntary organisations such as the Indian Society for Training and Development, alumni of various university and college groups, and other prestigious organisations. He has also done a PG Diploma in Counselling Psychology which has helped him understand other people while auditing. He is also a Certified Quality Engineer and has various other certifications. He is a life member of the Indian Society of Training and Development.

Recalling his childhood Pradeep says he completed his education and college in his home city. He was a jack of all trades in school and delivered an exceptional performance in studies, sports, and extra-curricular activities alike.

Sharing his COVID experience, Pradeep says he understood the fact that once we know our limitations, we can devise the best out of our capabilities. He suffered professionally during the pandemic as most of the auditing work is done face-to-face.

Pradeep feels grateful to have gotten English medium education as that has helped him professionally. Moreover, he advises the aspiring candidates to be an observer, understand and hear people, be adaptable, have a learning attitude, be a traveller, risk-taker, and proactive.

Sharing his idea of leadership, Pradeep says he believes that a good leader is a team player who knows how to handle a team. A good leader credits their team for their success but takes full responsibility when they fail. They are someone who knows how to build a team.

Pradeep feels lucky to have audited some of the global IT companies such as Infosys, HP, HCL, IBM, etc. He says that he has learned a lot from them along with encouraging them to speak about themselves.

During his free time, Pradeep likes to visit his relatives or close friends, spend time with family, watch movies, listen to music, interact, or go travelling.

If Pradeep gets a Time Machine, he would go back in time and would improve his behavioural patterns and anger issues and be a much more calm person. Moreover, he would follow his passion of becoming a cinematographer.

Pradeep advises the youngsters to be self-employed and not depend on anyone else or the government to give them employment. Moreover, he believes that education refines a human being, and thus, one should courageously start earning and eventually they will find their path.
