Prachi, a Personal Development Coach, finds solace and inspiration in the realms of music, art, and literature, forming a profound connection with these expressive forms.

Prachi Singh is a Personal Development Coach, Image Consultant, and Mentor of Change for NITI Aayog. She is the author of the book "Facets of Self Growth" and an image consultant. Prachi is on the panels of various organisations around the themes of mental health, anxiety, and depression.

Prachi feels that the key to your health lies in your daily routine, which needs to be carried out with a clear mindset. She adds that non-productive days culminate in anxiety, and one gets caught up in the cycle before they finally decide to implement positive changes in their lives.

As a Personal Development Coach, Prachi provides consultations to corporations and police departments. She primarily trains and talks about soft skills like goal setting, time management, and interpersonal skills.

As a Mentor of Change for NITI Aayog, Prachi supports the government initiative of making entrepreneurs, which requires instilling innovation and thinking abilities in them. She trains and enlightens young minds on different thinking processes by visiting various schools.

As an Image Consultant, Prachi takes one-on-one sessions with clients where they are evaluated on their personalities and skills, and customised modules are created for them.

Recalling her childhood, Prachi says that she grew up in the holy city of Varanasi and has been residing in New Delhi for the last eighteen years. She completed her education in Varanasi itself and is a post-graduate in English Literature. Initially, Prachi aspired to become a programmer, but she later decided to pursue her career in soft skills training.

Prachi started her training in 2001, following which she took a career break for 2–3 years due to marriage.

When asked about her role models, Prachi says she drew inspiration from her father, who instilled in her good reading habits that are helping her even today. Prachi admired him for his ocean of knowledge and hard-working nature.

Discussing her struggles, Prachi says that hailing from Varanasi and moving to a new city came with their own set of challenges. She was often looked down on by Delhiites, which lowered her confidence. Thereafter, Prachi enrolled in an image consulting course and later started getting calls from companies, which she counts as an achievement.

Speaking about her achievements, Prachi shares that she has been a jury member at various places and was recently on the panel at the SRCC. She feels elated that, coming from Varanasi, she could create an identity for herself in Delhi merely based on her skills and knowledge.

Drawing a comparison between education and experience, Prachi says she feels that both experience and knowledge help you understand society better. She says that your experiences add to your wisdom, and the experience you gain from others also makes you a better person.

For anyone aspiring to become a soft skills trainer, Prachi says that they first need to work on enhancing their knowledge and on understanding the changes in society. She suggests they improvise on their public speaking and communication skills. "Demonstrating empathy also contributes to being a good trainer", says Prachi.

Prachi advises the youth that in a world full of information, instead of getting confused, they should take small steps every day and work on themselves. "These include your health, knowledge, daily routine, time management, and a clear mindset", says Prachi.
