Prachi Rathore is the owner of Vanijyam Commerce Classes, which she started in September 2021.
Prachi began her career as an 18-year-old faculty member teaching computers and basic accounting at an institute. She initially didn’t have any interest in teaching before she realized that she liked to interact with people. She then switched to the corporate world, where she worked as a trainer for two years. After gaining five years of experience in accounting, Prachi explored herself further and decided to open her own coaching institute.
Talking about her challenges, Prachi says that, owing to the pandemic, many of her plans came to a standstill.
She believes that education is a prerequisite, and establishing a command of any particular subject counts as experience.
Regarding her achievements, Prachi says she considers her students’ appreciation as her source of motivation and accomplishment. She remembers taking seminars as a 20-year-old and being acknowledged for it.
She says that besides education, life skills like communication and marketing knowledge are equally important. Prachi urges the youth to take their own responsibilities and urges girls to never consider age as a barrier.
Prachi likes to work independently and has played many roles as a mentor and a leader, helping organize small functions. She says that a good leader should try to incorporate everyone’s ideas to achieve a successful outcome.
Describing her role models, Prachi says she considers her mother an inspiration who taught her to be patient and manage things effortlessly. She is also grateful to her teachers and a few of those who have demotivated her in life, which eventually propelled her to achieve greater heights.
If Prachi could go back in a Time Machine, she would change people’s mindset towards girls with regards to their career choice. Prachi says that girls can function equally well in the field and work as efficiently as their male counterparts.
In her free time, Prachi likes to write stories and poems and indulge in self-talk. She also enjoys watching YouTube videos and learning new things.
