Prabhat is an entrepreneur and the co-founder of a successful design start-up based in Udaipur. Since its inception in 2011, his company has trained over 20,000 students, with many finding employment in prominent tech companies or launching startups of their own.

Prabhat Singh Chandel comes from Udaipur, although he is basically from Nimbahera in Chittorgarh district. His father used to work in the JK cement factory. Prabhat has done his schooling in Nimbahera itself and attained his diploma in Udaipur.

Thereafter, he pursued his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering through a distance learning course. Prabhat had started working at a company soon after getting his diploma. However, after some time, he decided that he wanted to do something of his own, so he quit the job and pursued his higher studies at B.E.

Prabhat and his elder brother initiated a design start-up, as Prabhat is very passionate about it and also has good expertise in it. At the start, they rented some computers for their start-up from a computer center, but in just under one month, they were so successful that they were able to open their own center.

Prabhat says that initially it was not very easy for them, and they faced several challenges too and are still dealing with ups and downs. But, as his teacher once said to him, "Your vision should always be clear," he continued to work hard, believing that he would ultimately succeed in his endeavors.

When COVID struck India, his company was also affected, but he started online sessions and took his business online. He also advised several of his students who were losing their jobs to switch to freelancer sites, as Prabhat believes that one must be flexible and look for different opportunities in a difficult situation.

Prabhat says that his success mantra is learning constantly and applying that to his work. He says that his core branch is mechanical, but he has trained more than 8,000 students in the civil branch and deals in forty-eight software products.

For people aspiring to join his field, Prabhat suggests they focus on providing quality knowledge and experience to the students so that their company gets good feedback. "Treating your employees with respect and having team spirit is also an important quality", says Prabhat.

Prabhat is of the opinion that education and experience, if applied together, will give the best outcome, as both are co-dependent.

Prabhat has had many role models throughout different phases of his life, and he learns from whomever he can. However, he considers his biggest role models to be his elder brother and his teacher, as they have always motivated him to work hard and be professional.

If Prabhat gets a chance to revisit his past and change something, he would like to change his stream from mechanical to civil and see how things turn out for him.

Prabhat likes to spend his free time learning new software and constantly developing his knowledge. He also learned three to four new programs during the lockdown, which proved to be quite useful for him.
