After encountering a harsh reality of life, Prabahkar’s outlook on life changed completely. He ended up starting an NGO for specially-abled and orphan children to give them a better life.

Prabhakar Sharma is a Director at Pt Chhitarmal Lata Welfare Society in Alwar. He deals with the education, vocational training programs, sports and games and rehabilitation activities of the differently-abled children. Along with this, he is also a proud National Trainer from Rajasthan in Special Olympics Bharat.

Prabhakar is a resident of Khairthal in Alwar district.

Prabhakar narrates a sordid story behind starting this NGO, where a retarded girl was inadequately bullied by some children. He took that child to her house. After seeing her mother’s distraught condition, he was saddened even more. That scene haunted him for months and finally he was inspired to set up this NGO.
