Poonam is an entrepreneur and is running a hostel for students. She works hard to provide the best of services to the students and feels that it has also resulted in her personal grooming as well.

Poonam Vora runs a student’s accommodation for girls and boys in Mumbai.

Poonam was born and brought up in Mumbai. She hails from an upper middle class family and has been a Hotel Management student.

Poonam says that earlier her husband used to run a factory of Cello Tapes. However, it was his passion and dream to do something for students finding it difficult to get an accommodation when coming to cities like Mumbai for studies. It was then that they both started this venture of theirs in 2012. Poonam says that their main goal was to provide home-like facilities to the students.

Talking about struggles, Poonam says that there were times when they were forced to close down their facility but did not give in to such setbacks. Poonam says that she has learned a lot from the students and it has helped her be a better entrepreneur in life.

When asked about her achievements, Poonam says that the confidence she has gained by working in this field is her biggest achievement.

Giving a piece of advice to everyone, Poonam says that they should not trust anyone blindly in life. Advising the students, Poonam says that they should always remember the investment their parents are putting in for them. However, she also says that students should enjoy their lives but also focus on their goals simultaneously.

In her free time, Poonam likes to watch movies and listen to music. She also likes to have her own time and space from time to time.
