Poonam Shah, a dedicated accountant in Udaipur, balances her CA studies with volunteering at Udaipur Animal Feed. Inspired by her animal-loving family, she finds fulfilment in serving voiceless creatures and encourages others to support local strays.

Poonam Shah is employed in Udaipur as an accountant. In addition, she is also a member at an NGO named Udaipur Animal Feed.

Poonam was born and raised in Udaipur, where she completed her B.Com. She is currently working while pursuing a CA course. Coming from an animal-loving family, she is always willing to help helpless creatures.

When asked about her role models, Poonam responds that her senior, Gaurav Agarwal, is her inspiration for pursuing CA.

Poonam stated that, through Instagram, she learnt about Udaipur Animal Feed (UAF). She began working with the NGO in June 2021, and ever since then, she has had a bizarre experience serving the voiceless creatures. She says that she enjoys working with UAF and that the organisation's members are really helpful and encouraging.

Recalling her COVID experience, Poonam states that she distributed food to the needy along with her father. In addition, she watched TV shows, the internet, and cooked with her father at home. Because she was restricted by COVID to indoor spaces, she also played badminton and other indoor activities. She also planted plants and performed pranayama exercises at the time of the pandemic.

Poonam gives young people advice on having a role model in their area of interest and continuing to advance in their careers by imitating them. She advises you to always surround yourself with individuals who inspire you rather than demotivate you.

Her message to people is that stray animals won't hurt you unless they are provoked. They will love you back if you love them. She exhorts everyone to support UAF's efforts by feeding the local animals.
