Pooja Jat is a Research Scholar, pursuing her PhD in Computer Science. Along with this she is also an academician.
Pooja recalls her childhood memory of her favorite Mathematics teacher who left a deep impact on her personality. Pooja tells us how much she was fond of her teaching style and her persona, which ultimately became the reason behind Pooja choosing her career as an academician.
Pooja says she is also associated with the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and that is the reason behind her inclination towards social service and swadhyay. She says from her childhood days she used to do sewa, but it got deeper during her college election days when she became a member of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
Pooja shares that she was very clear about her career choice from the start, and she planned every step of her career. She did BTech, then MTech, and is now pursuing a Ph.D.
When asked about her pandemic experience, Pooja says it was quite a self-analyzing time for everyone. She says she still has those moments on her mind when she and her family got infected by Covid-19 and how they kept each other motivated in a hard time.
She remembers the time when she used to cry by watching the news of helpless people, struggling to arrange beds, and oxygen cylinders for their loved ones and how bad she felt for not being a "help" to them. The whole Pandemic experience made her more empathetic.
Talking about her inspirations, Pooja says Srimad Bhagwat Geeta is the book which gives her guidance for every problem.
To the youth Pooja suggests they should have clarity between their interests and passions.
Pooja believes there is no such thing as a timepass; everything leaves a mark and decides your future. So, she alludes to taking everything earnestly which comes in your way, whether wishfully or forcefully.
Pooja reckons that the present is the reflection of the past. So, everyone should give importance to every little task that comes in their career path.
