Pooja is a teacher and feels that her family, especially her father, was the reason she opted for the field of teaching.

Dr. Pooja Choudhary has been working at Central Public School, Udaipur for the past eighteen years. She joined as a counselor and later started teaching Social Science and Psychology to senior classes.

Pooja lived her childhood and completed her education in Udaipur itself. She has done a Ph.D. in Child Psychology.

Pooja says that she was an average student in school. Her father and many relatives from her maternal side were in the teaching field and it inspired Pooja to pursue the same. Pooja shares that being from a missionary school, the values of dedication and leading an organized life were inculcated in her from the very beginning.

Sharing about her role models, Pooja says that her parents are the ones for her. Secondly, the Chairperson of CPS, Alka Sharma is also her inspiration. Pooja learned about professionalism from her and truly admires her.

Pooja feels that she has had a satisfying life till now. Still, if given a Time Machine, she would like to go back in time and work on her personality grooming during her school days.

Advising the youngsters, Pooja says that nowadays there are multiple activities in which time is wasted by them and such should not be done. She suggests choosing a goal at the right time and dedicating oneself to achieving it. Pooja says, even for becoming a teacher, multiple skills are a must to help in the personality development of your students.

When asked about her favorite quote, Pooja says that the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita about Karma inspire her.

In her free time, Pooja likes reading religious books and traveling.
