Despite all the difficulties, Piyush established his own export-import business and is now effectively running his factory.

Piyush Parashar is the owner at Aradhana Sarees & Radhika Exports in Pushkar.

Piyush did his schooling from Pushkar itself. He did his graduation and post graduation in Arts from a college in Ajmer.

Piyush shares that he sells a range of clothes especially the traditional sarees such as Bandhani, Lehriya and many more. They also export western wear to Spain, France and Germany. Pushkar is a hub for tourists and gives ample opportunity for the growth of business.

Sharing his COVID experience, Piyush says that the pandemic period was particularly difficult for him because all exports were halted, and all employees and tailors went back to their homes. On a personal note, he feels happy that he got plenty of time to spend with his family.

When asked about his role models, Piyush says that his father and his brother-in-law have inspired him and he has learned a lot from both of them.

Piyush accepts that he has made several mistakes and wishes he had been more cautious. However, he takes pride in the fact that he has established a factory and that his export and import businesses are flourishing. He suggests that everyone try their hand at starting a business.

To all the youngsters, Piyush says to have patience and don’t lose hope because success and failure are just part of life.
