Peeyush Dwivedi is working as an Assistant Engineer in Uttar Pradesh Electricity Board.
He was born in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. He did his schooling at Sainik School, Rewa. Peeyush has done his Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. He scored fourth rank in the UPPCL Examination and secured a job for himself.
Peeyush is posted in Bana, UP. He manages an Electricity Workshop which is responsible for Transformer repairing and maintenance. He feels that this job provides him with an opportunity to serve people which he always desired to do.
Peeyush says that he has an interest in sports as well. He expects that youth should at least play one sport in their life. He feels that instead of getting some bad habits like smoking or drinking, one should invest time in activities like Sports and Yoga.
Peeyush says that during Covid their work increased manifold. It was their responsibility to manage uninterrupted electricity supply to hospitals as many patients were on oxygen support. Even after testing Covid positive, Peeyush kept working from home. He feels that Covid taught us to work in a team and also that life should not be taken for granted.
Peeyush thinks that everyone has to go through struggles in their lives. Some have to go through mental struggles while some through physical ones. After completing his Engineering, Peeyush worked for two years in a private company. After that, he did two years of coaching and cleared the IES examination three times but couldn’t get the final selection. He feels that everyone is made for something in life and should grab any opportunity they get and work hard in that field.
Peeyush shares that his father is his role model. His father always advised Peeyush to build a good character and help the needy. His father also advised him not to use education in the wrong field. IPS Navniet Sekera is also his ideal. Peeyush says that he watches his interviews and gets inspired by his wise words.
Peeyush says that there are ample job opportunities for the youth in his field. An Engineer can become Assistant Engineer, a general graduate can become a Babu, Diploma holders can become Junior Engineers and ITI professionals can become Technicians. He feels that this field provides a way to help people solve their problems.
Peeyush feels that failures are a part of life. There are several examinations like IAS, PCS, GATE, etc., and not everyone clears these examinations. He feels that everyone is made for something in life and should not be depressed by failure. Having a positive approach can help in moving forward and achieving something in life. Peeyush says that he watches a film named ‘The Schindler’s List’ to boost himself whenever he feels low.
In his free time, Peeyush likes to spend time with his family and read mythological books.
