Parul Sharma is a self-made entrepreneur who believes in having a good work-life balance.

Parul Sharma is the owner of a business of pure chiffon sarees.

Parul was born and raised in Jodhpur and is currently residing in Udaipur. She did her schooling from Jodhpur, and then pursued her BBA at the PLV College, Jodhpur. Later, she got married and then completed MBA, followed by B.Ed.

Growing up, Parul was always interested in designing and art, so she started a saree business ten years back. Gradually, she expanded her startup to selling customised chiffon sarees growing her business through social media marketing.

Talking about her role models, Parul says that her brother is her inspiration who has helped her at every point in life. She believes in learning from every little thing she comes across.

The journey, however, wasn’t very smooth for Parul. She says that growing a business from scratch and then also managing family life with work was quite a challenge for her. However, she remained mentally strong and managed everything just fine.

Sharing her experience of the COVID period, Parul says that she stayed away from negative news, keeping herself and her family cheerful. She says that she engaged in productive activities to keep herself motivated. Her business, however, was completely halted but she didn’t lose hope and enjoyed the free time with her family.

During her free time, Parul likes cooking and going on outings. She also likes spending time with her family and teaching new things to her son.

Advising the younger generation, Parul says that you should do what you love doing, and shouldn’t hesitate to follow your dreams for any reason.
