Partha is a painting artist who never planned to come into this field and feels that the support of his father and sisters helped him follow this path.

Partha Joardar is a painter with thirty six years of experience in the field.

Partha hails from Kolkata, West Bengal. He was born in Raiganj and, at the age of three, he shifted to Kolkata. He completed his schooling in Kolkata and in the years 1984-85, he got attracted towards painting.

Partha says that he never intended to become a painter. There was a time when he used to think that he would enter the field of sports and become a goalkeeper . He feels that whatever goals or field we choose in life, we should work hard to create a unique identity of ourselves in it.

Talking about his mistakes, Partha says that to pursue painting he had to leave his studies midway otherwise he too could have become a doctor or engineer. He was confused at that point of time about the choice of a field. However, he now feels that whatever happened, happened for good.

When asked about his role models, Partha says that he tries to learn from everyone around him and does not have a particular person as an inspiration.

Partha advises the youth to become a patient and honest person in life. He feels that they should set a goal in life and try to achieve it dedicatedly.

Partha shares that he does meditation to get inner cleansing of thoughts and feels that a person should be good within in order to do good to others as well.
