Professionally a Software Developer, Paritosh is a passionate Charcoal Artist living life to its fullest.

Paritosh Mohan Sawai is a Charcoal Artist doing commissioned artwork.  He is a Software Developer by profession.

Paritosh was born and brought up in Amravati, Maharashtra. He completed his secondary education from there itself, before going to Hyderabad to complete his schooling. Later on, he pursued engineering, which he completed the past year, and subsequently also got a job as a Software Developer.

Paritosh says that it was very natural for him to pursue the art field as he grew up in a family of artists, with his mother being a painter and his elder brother being an Animation Film Maker. On his choice of being a Charcoal Artist, he says that he didn't quite understand the application of colours in painting, so he picked up charcoal painting on his mother’s advice. Gradually, he monetised his art and started taking up commissioned artwork projects. Notably, he never took any formal training but learned by observation while working under an eminent artist.

Paritosh considers his mother and his elder brother as his role models. He says that his mother has always guided him to the right path.

Sharing his experience of the COVID pandemic, Paritosh says that he finally got to spend time with his family, as, after completing the tenth standard, he mostly remained out of town. He also created several artworks with his family.

Advising budding artists, Paritosh says that you must never give up. He also says that practice is the key when it comes to mastering any art, so you should not shy away from rigorous practice.
